Spring Break 2018

Six UIndy School of Business students traveled to Savannah, GA for spring break to help build a house with Habitat for Humanity. During their spring break, they worked on a house that was being built for a woman who served in Iraq. The house is for her and her children. Our students felt honored to help someone who served for our country. Their construction days consisted of putting up the walls of the house to complete the frame. They also put up the frame of the roof. They also spent time working in the Habitat for Humanity Restore. The Restore is a store for the public. The store consists of household items from all types of furniture to household necessities such as toilets, doors, etc. The students help unload furniture and items and get them ready to be put on the floor to be sold. This service trip is a great way to spend a spring break giving back to the community.
